BODYflies is a slow fashion project applying circular processes in order to reduce waste and promote sustainable fashion habits. Design patterns are simple and every piece is conceived to be reused for new purposes. BODYflies avoids the use of plastics during the entire process. 
Our packaging is not biodegradable, nor compostable; it is a small reusable bag, the FLYbag, also made of scraps. Our garment labels are made of organic cotton and recycled polyamide. Hanging labels are made of kraft paper, as well as our pattern material. 
If you don't use your Flies anymore, please don't throw it away. If its conditions are good, resell or donate it; another person will enjoy it! If it is overused, ripped or has any demage, repair it, I can help you. We will reduce, reuse and recycle together!
We accurately choose quality materials to ensure comfort and durability. Deadstocks are still valuable fabrics, they are perfect for our Flies actually! And, please, consider that any possible imperfection is due to the hand-crafted process and the different fabric matching, making your Flies unique pieces. 
BODYflies is partner of Recovo®, a Spanish platform that collects and redistributes leftover fabrics, giving it a second life.

01_Rescue 

The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.

02_Regenerate 

Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

03_Remake 

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers for the fashion and interior industries.

04_Reimagine 

The beauty of ECONYL® regenerated nylon is that it has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. We believe circular design is the future and using ECONYL® is our first step on that journey.
